Mosque Street was once lined with Chinese & Tamil Schools. Then came British Colonial rule that erected buildings in the 1930s.
This street holds a treasure trove of memories, housing the old Hakka community, Indian scholars, British customs officers & was the bustling avenue for its residents where they met, played & laughed.
Today that is where Hotel 1900 stands. Comprising of a few adjoining, four-storey traditional shophouses, situated on Chinatown’s most renowned historical lanes, and surrounded by traditional and picturesque shops.
Hotel 1900 is a home for nostalgic hearts around the world.
